CAN I REGISTER A LIMITED COMPANY USING THE WORD “ASSOCIATION” IN THE COMPANY NAME?

YES! You can register a Limited company with the word ‘association’ in the company name. This will be seen as a normal Hong Kong Limited company, limited by shares.

Further, if you are planning to setup a ‘group’, that is not a Hong Kong Limited company, you will have to register the ‘Association’ at the police station. This will be a personally liable association, not limited by shares.

At Centre O, we are checking if the company name is usable before you are setting up a Hong Kong Limited Company. Therefore, we ensure there won’t be any rejection for the selected name. We would be happy to help you setup a Hong Kong Limited Company! Contact us at sales@centreo.hk or 3124 2888 for more details.
