Amber health code is nothing to worry; Amber code doesn’t bother your daily life a lot. However, the major restriction is not allowing to enter the high-risk premises involving mask-off or group activities.

What are the restrictions with Amber Code?

Amber code holder are not allowed to enter high-risk premises involving mask-off or group activities. Also, the premises subject to “Active checking” of the Vaccine Pass. For example:

  • Bars or pubs
  • Bathhouses
  • Fitnesses centres
  • Public skating rinks
  • Cinemas
  • Performance Venues
  • Sport premises
  • Swimming pools
  • Residential care homes for the elderly, residential care homes for disabilities, schools and designated healthcare premises

In general, amber code holders are free to go to the banks, government departments, courts, clinics and hospitals. However, the government is adjusting the restriction according to the real situation every week.

Last but not the least, Hong Kong still requested to wear a surgical mask when you are going out no matter indoor or outdoor.
