A recent decision by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers has probably changed the face of the Internet – or at least have offered it a set of new accessories. More than 1, 000 generic Top-Level Domains (gTLDs) have been opened up (outside the .com .net and.biz variety. This means that a small business has now the option of choosing an almost tailored business domain: .florist, .gallery, .repair, .homes, .technology, .coffee and more.
Even though the .com domain will probably be dominating over the Internet scene for a number of years, the newcoming domains are by far a confident step into a more diverse future.
