Today’s Notice: Non-HK Identity Card Holders may not be accepted for new company bank account set-up in Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation
Special News for opening a bank account in Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation !
HSBC is less likely to accept new bank company account set-up in Hong Kong for non-Hong Kong Identity Card holders , or in cases where these companies will need to show a minimum annual turnover of HK$15 million.
In addition, any aspiring Hong Kong company will need to have been incorporated and active for over a year. This begs the question of how a company is supposed to operate for a year without a bank account. Moreover, companies registered in jurisdictions HSBC believes are dubious will face difficulties….

-Residential address
