Being a shareholder can be an exciting and rewarding, but it can be complex as well. At some stage agreements are needed to protect you and your interests.
A shareholders’ agreement contains detailed rules relating to the running of the company and the relationship between the shareholders. This can be beneficial both to minority and majority shareholders, and is important in allowing a company to grow in a consistent and stable fashion.
This workshop will help you to understand some of the key provisions that are typically found in a shareholders’ agreement and the some of the key decisions shareholders need to make.
Don’t forget to bring a few name cards with you.
