Alexandre de Paris new shop at The Landmark
Nothing pleases us more than success of our clients and friends! We have great news this week! Alexandre de Paris, our long-term client just opened brand new shop at The Landmark in Central. Alexandre de Paris sells luxury hair accessories, including hair pins and head bands. All the items are hand crafted and shipped right from France. Centre o have been there and seen it and we have to say hair accessories are all in this season!
Alexandre de Paris makes you feel luxurious from the very moment you enter the shop. The carpet and walls are all velvet and soft in beautiful earth beige and turquoise colours. In the centre there is a modern display of crab pins in different sizes and colors revolving in a circle. Isn’t this a fantastic idea? Suddenly we felt like kids and started playing with the display selecting the items we loved most! In addition customers may learn about Alexandre de Paris Universe from a digital display installed in the shop. Did you know that Miss China was wearing Alexandre de Paris crown in 2009?

Russian delegation from Sverdlovsk at centre o
This week at centre o we were receiving the delegation of 8 SMEs from the Russian city Sverdlovsk, who visited Hong Kong together with Sverdlovsk Regional Business Support Organization. The business meeting came into effect thanks to the cooperation with SME Association. Our manager Josephine greeted everyone with an insightful talk about the activities of centre o and the nature of doing business in Hong Kong. Centre o as one of the leading business centres in Hong Kong, throughout the years has accumulated experience and skillset to help starting or growing companies set foot in Hong Kong market.
The Russians expressed high interest in Hong Kong IT & Technology market. They were also under big impression of Hong Kong welcoming culture and people they have meet along the way. Each company received a Chinese culture themed gift from centre o. The business meeting resulted in exchange of experiences and strengthening business connections. We are hoping to see some of the visiting companies back in Hong Kong soon!

How long does it take to setup a limited company in Hong Kong?
At centre o, it only takes 24 hours to incorporate a Hong Kong limited company. Clients will be able to receive the Business Registration of the certificate of incorporation in the same day. Then we will need another 3-4 working days in order to get the company chops, M&A and company box.

I’m not a Hong Kong ID card holder, can I incorporate a business in Hong Kong?
You can incorporate a business in Hong Kong. Company in Hong Kong requires at least one director and one company secretary. If the company has one director only, the sole director cannot be the secretary of the company at the same time. If the secretary is an individual, he/she should ordinarily reside in Hong Kong. If the secretary is a body corporate, its registered office or place of business should be in Hong Kong. A non-Hong Kong resident can be appointed as a director.
